Lets work on this
To better educate people, v2 should be called conditional, unless talking to people who already know these terms. This is because many people assume V1 & V2 (global & conditional) are related, in any way, when they are not
This emote is gold
Honestly why I hate it when people call splash a dmg type in 2
Because it isn't
It's a trait
But nothing directly explicitly boosts "splash" dmg
Splash is literally just a bonus Element that uses the base stat and not the projectile to my understanding
In 2?
Yeh
Axton boosts grenade dmg
Reaper boosts gun dmg
Krieg's bloodsploosion just checks if something has AoE iirc
if i speak
Speak
no
Who else is going to correct me when I inevitably get something wrong
Zeta
She isn't here
She?
You did not know that?
it says anything but him
yeah
I have never heard this though
I'm just applying my interpretation on it
so basically
It's an extra dmg instance on top of the bullet
Except your bullet can do 0 damage
solash in 2 isnt even a trait its just damage tjat jappemd in a radiud
bloofsplopjmm checks for damage source still
nice spelling bro
nova, grenade, smd rockru
I see
is the cat running through the keyboard
wow
Yeah I just linked to the doc, cause I ain’t typing the whole explanation again when it exists in a well-explained form! I know it’s linked in other docs, but I didn’t see it in the resources tab, so maybe it should be added
Idk, they could have replied or asked more questions. They didn’t, so why explain more than what’s within an easy search? I just used the terminology they’ll see most often in the community, with the addition of your term scale though!
Probably global and conditional are more precise than the heuristic in the doc of “about you” vs “about target”, since weapon type damage doesn’t really fit nicely into that
Scale is not my terminology
Just as you were the one who taught it to me
