Guys can someone help me please
I’m trying to run a home hosting server and get my friend into it for testing

Ports are open and server is running and showing online on at the txadmin page

When trying to connect my friend receive a message saying CURL 28

I am able to join and play in the server

  1. Its never a good idea to home host and leave your network open and vulnerable for outside attacks "even if your just having your friend connect" cyber space is scary as it is

  2. use a dedicated machine or vps to host your own fivem server if your serious about investing into making one, its not cheap to do but plenty of free resources out there to use.

  3. you can connect to it since your right there on the same machine but your firewall is most likely blocking outside connections still.

  1. Home hosting is good for dev work but not to share and allow outsiders to connect in, thats where youll be exposed and be vulnerable to attacks
