ok mayb it doesn’t need to be strict but seeing the worst players possible running around with 100 OVR is Quite Astonishing
what should increase/decrease a player’s ovr:
increases: in order of which from highest increases to lowest
MVPs: this one is obvious
Points, Assists: i think assists are on the same level as points due to it indicating that the player has more overall gamesense and playmaking abilities.
Blocks: important but not as important.
Ankle Breaks: not super important. honestly with styles like tatlis you hardly see ankle breaks anymore
Decreases: highest to lowest
losing the match,
getting your shot blocked: made a stupid decision, shooting a shot you were definitely not going to make and lacking playmaking ability.,
getting your ball stolen
these decreases should be much more strict on your OVR than increases.
imo your average player should be 50 to 70 OVR, experienced players from 71 to 80, your good players from 81 to 89, and 90 to 100 the god players.
this would possibly help with the readdition of Pro Servers
OVR should take data from all of your games, so if you play like crap in one game but you’re generally an experienced/good player your ovr shouldn’t immediately tank.
though i think if you consistently play like crap your ovr should start tanking tremendously.
never checked but games in private servers shouldn’t affect OVR.
for clarification all of this is said without any idea of how the current OVR system works, i just think the problem stated at the start of this post should be fixed :P
