Description - Genius Using Spin To Its Maximum Capabilities.

Based off the rares we have right now I won’t make this too op

Move 1: Torque Grapple (On the Ball, Needs Opponent)

  • Visual/Impact: When activated, a motion blur or trail effect surrounds the player to emphasize the spinning action. The opponent is visibly pushed back with a stagger animation (like a quick stumble or jolt).
  • Speed Buff: The player receives a speed buff that lasts for 1 second, with a decay effect (1.2x speed for 0.5 seconds, then 1.1x speed for the next 0.5 seconds).
  • Counterplay Opportunity: Opponents can attempt to block or dodge the grapple. If they time it correctly, they break the grapple before the speed boost activates.

Move 2: Gyro Shot

  • Visuals: The shot is accompanied by a glowing trail or wobble effect that shows the ball’s curving trajectory, making it visually unique.
  • Aimbot Mechanism: Instead of a direct aimbot, the Gyro Shot adjusts its angle relative to the hoop, curving slightly to ensure the ball reaches the hoop even if the player’s angle is off.
  • Cooldown: After each use, the Gyro Shot has a brief cooldown (around 2-3 seconds), encouraging strategic use.
  • Range: The move activates at roughly the 3-point line, with slight variations depending on the player’s position.

Awakening

  • Visual/Impact: During Awakening, the player gets a glowing effect on the ball, and it moves with a quick blur that emphasizes the fast hand-switching. There’s also a slight motion distortion effect that temporarily confuses nearby opponents, making it harder for them to track the player’s movements.
  • Strategic Value: During Awakening, the player moves 1.1x faster, making it harder for opponents to catch up. The ball-switching also creates a temporary disorientation effect on nearby enemies (they experience a slight visual blur or delayed control input for 0.5 seconds).

Awakened Move 1: Spin Pass Cutscene

  • Visual Drama: The cutscene starts with an intense camera zoom-in on the player’s hand as they spin the ball, followed by slow-motion as the ball weaves through opponents. The ball follows a “knuckleball” trajectory, moving unpredictably and narrowly avoiding defenders.
  • Opponent Interaction: The opponents try to block or intercept the ball, but miss in a cinematic fashion, showing them stumbling or reacting in slow motion.
  • Teammate’s Shot: When the ball reaches the open teammate, the camera zooms in on the teammate’s shot with a flash effect as the ball is released. This makes the play feel like a signature, high-stakes team moment.

Awakened Move 3: Spin Bounce & Fake Shots

  • Fake Shots Animation: The user fakes 3-4 times in rapid succession, with exaggerated movements like sudden stops, pivots, and quick flicks of the wrist. This keeps the opponent guessing and increases the tension of the moment.
  • Spin Effect: As the user bounces the ball to the opponent, the ball leaves a colored trail based on the spin direction (red for clockwise, blue for counterclockwise). The ball’s trajectory can clip the opponent’s hand, and a whiff sound effect or a small visual cue shows the opponent almost blocking the shot.
  • Shot Outcome: The ball should clip the opponent’s hand but still enter the hoop due to the spin. The final shot can have a slow-motion effect with a dramatic zoom as the ball banks off the rim or swishes into the net.
