Please add an option for users to delete projects. Platforms like Rocket.new and Lovable etc allow this, but in Emergent it’s currently not possible. This raises questions about intellectual property and makes it uncomfortable for users to manage their work.

Thank you for your inquiry about project deletion capabilities in Emergent.

Currently, Emergent does not provide the ability to permanently delete projects from user accounts. While you can shut down deployed applications to stop recurring charges and public access, the underlying project data, including code and chat history, remains in your account.

Steps to Shut Down Deployed Applications:

  1. Navigate to your Home tab in the Emergent interface
  2. Locate and click on "Deployed Apps" section
  3. Find the specific application you wish to shut down
  4. Select the shutdown/stop option for that deployment
  5. Confirm the action to stop the live deployment

Note: This action stops recurring monthly charges (50 credits per month) and makes your app inaccessible to users, but does not delete the original project data.
