the fundemental problem is, messing with what the actual board looks like is not something that has ever been done, outside game rule changes, and isn't something you should mess with, because that requires either A) specialized items to visualie(custom playmat/custom dice/custom counters/etc) or B) just simply remember(which is extremely falliable and falls apart the longer a game goes on)
its the same level of objectively bad card design as making a card that says "add all 5 pieces of exodia to your hand for 0 cost" on a normal spell

I've made tons of minor misplays both on sims and locals hundreds of times because of missing minor details
sometimes I'll play dark ruler no more then attack the same turn forgetting they take no damage
sometimes I'll accidentally play a spell in an imperm column and just have to take the L
cards are not infalliable - players are, so you have to keep effect complexity in mind
if you keep effects at least somewhat tangentially related it usually works

cyber dragon, suship, and harpie are the main 3 decks that base themselves around exact named mons, for minimal payoff as is
for cyber dragon its mostly a cute way to dodge needing to run the OG(although you still want to) same with harpie, and with suship shari red has the same name as the vanilla so you can play 6 copies to make the xyz effects easier to use
Its pretty slow, but it ensures your opponent has no board for probably the rest of the game if you run the contact fusions with a name + type change. Since that's Chimeratech Fortress or Alba Lenatus every turn with no monster investment of your own.
You can't summon those fusions on their turn
So they just kill you inbetween

the main reason most people don't is because there's not really any design space for it

Cuz one of the clowns buffs opponent's monster by 200 for each each Water with 200 atk in the GY.
All the of the clowns are continuous, so the mill had to go somewhere.
Also don't forget, it can revive what it mills.
if youre going as far as buffing opponent's monsters then i hope you have some effect redundancy in there
if the deck folds to bottomdecking circ then that wont be very fun to play with
and also would need more payoffs for opponent's monsters being bigger than just buffoon, but this is only 3 cards of course

Forgot to write it but Vaylantz Guild Master can be contact fused with 2 Vaylantz Monsters, one of em has to be a water spellcaster
I need to change Vaylantz Checkmate's effect a bit. I dont know exactly how to word the Quick Effect change
Because I want it to change effect wording to "If this card has moved this turn" rather than "If this card has moved"

I also made a Senet Switch Retrain but I forgot where it was..
it was basically just Senet Switch but with an additional effect to play your Vaylantz Cards as checkers.

the main issue with Vaylantz is that since their field spells both work on the opponent's turn
And you dont have ENOUGH THINGS TO DO to stop your opponent from doing that now at days
the best you can do is a targeted negation, destruction, and a steal but that all happens on one chain

arktos swap effect doesn't proc the effects immediately and needs to happen on new chain

See Paleos, where you run only half of the main deck Paleo cards in 60 card decks.
Your archetype probably wants a lot of graveyard shenanigans tho, given that's like the main driving force towards playing 60 cards
