Hidden within the remains of "El Shaddoll Anoyatyllis", was "Infernoid Decatron", the head of "Infernoid Devyaty", still active and functional. Using the power of the 'Cores' within its 10 vacuum tubes, "Decatron" managed to access the 'qliphoth' system within the "Sacred Tree" and awakened the true body of "Tierra, Source of Destruction". Revived as "Infernoid Tierra", it set out to do what "Sophia" once did – to wipe out all the life born from the 'sefiroth' system.

To fully revive into its divine form, "Infernoid Tierra" still needed the power of 'creation' that once belonged to "Sophia". To solve this problem, "Tierra" planned to revive "Gem-Knight Lapis", who had been sleeping inside "El Shaddoll Construct" – as she is the mirror image of "Tellarknight Ptolemaeus", including her power of 'creation' – and absorb the power this way.

Which then went to Infernoid Decatron, and was able to pass it to Infernoid Tierra, who then only needed the power of creation from Lapis

The one who stood to face "Tierra, Source of Destruction" was the protector of the "Naturia Sacred Tree", "Zefraath". The scale of their battle shook the entire planet, and lasted for one thousand days and one thousand nights. At the dawn of the 1000th day, the forms of "Tierra" and "Zefraath" were nowhere to be seen. The only things left were the charred remains of the "Sacred Tree", and two "Gem-Knights".

The "War" which shook the heavens and the earth had finally come to an end. With the vanquishment of "Tierra, Source of Destruction", those imprisoned in the vacuum tubes of the "Infernoid" remains were freed. "Ritual Beast Tamer Elder", upon seeing the return of "Gusto Falco", sobbed uncontrollably, as he did in his youth as "Kamui, Hope of Gusto". The other veterans of the previous great war, having lived on for decades without ever expecting to see their old friends again in this lifetime, reunited with comrades of their own.

With the "Naturia Sacred Tree" out of action, the surface lives had lost their god. While many were at a loss about what to do, "Crystal" saw light emanating from the "Sacred Tree", thought to be completely inactive. With their friends and comrades watching over them, "Crystal" disappeared into the light along with "Lapis". As the dead and as "Shaddolls", they have wandered the world, but they have finally reached their resting place. However, "Crystal" knows that his past friends and comrades are waiting just beyond that light. The future that they should head towards, that is a future in which life and death no longer endlessly repeat by the control of the "Sacred Tree". It is a world in which those living on the earth are promised tranquility, freed from the shackles of gods. To seek out that world, to create that promised land, he, just as those who were left behind by that light once did, embarks on a journey, to an unknown horizon.

Even if you wanted a fully original story, I feel 5 chars on the good side and 3 on the bad sides (I'm not counting the pets or the clones), that we have to watch feels super unnecessary, you could prob easily compress them to like 2-3 and 1-2.

I'm the opposite. Endy in the LORE is described as a tyrant, warmonger and experiments on animals, etc etc. But to me, I could see that being a cover story and is secretly the good one in his conflict against the Spellbook peeps. Or atleast not as evil as he is made out to be.
And tbf, his apprehension with their ways is shown correct later along the timeline since we see Aleister powers(?) the Spellbook Tower or smthg, and then becomes the T pose Tower fusion.

My original theory was Aleister did a sneaky and fucked up some secret experiment/testing while doing a magic involving the other Magistus, such as the one in Theurgy and that lead to Zorua's death/disappearance, and thus the Magistus divided.

But my theory is that Aleister was secretly involved in the first Endy v Spellbook war. The turning point of the war was Fool stumbling onto the forbidden Spellbook. So, maybe Aleister sneakily made that Spellbook appear before him, without the others knowing of their involvement.

Same with Endy's motivation for the war. Which is said to be, that he opposes the Spellbook Tower's view on Magic should be accessible to everyone. I believe, atleast another reason for it is, he knows that Aleister might be involved somehow and that's why he attacks. And when he comes back as Pends, Aleister's shows that he is actually in control of the Tower.

A third part of the theory extends to Verre's current whereabouts. Since she's last seen MIA in Witchcrafter Confusion. My guess is she's heading to the place of the second war between Endy and the Tower and will intervene somehow. Either alongside Endy to save/defeat Aleister or opposing both Rayquaza style.

Usually when Komoney starting their new lore, the first card/archetype made to left an impression without bending the meta their way too much (but they would shaped up nicely nearing the end of the story)

Leaving DT aside since they're initially more large-scale & not as character-driven as later lores

Dracoslayer begin more as engine in pendulum decks, only become true deck near the end

#

3 World Legacy Heroes doesn't leave much impression as introduction of Link deck/era, but they do became meta at later point... as different cards

Albaz begin as part of Dogmatika, become its own deck midway of the story

Visas is heccin useless but still interesting card, is now at better place with Manadium

so souza was the old leader of the xsabers and not a great person
gottoms admired his tenacity, joined up and worked his way up to become 2nd in command
then the xsabers started having an internal conflict bc gottoms actually tried to be considerate and not throw people's lives away
and this is all happening during the war with the worms so it's not really a good time
one day souza disappears without a trace and leaves one of his swords behind, so gottoms takes up the leadership
he turns the band of mercenaries into actual competent soldiers
they grow and apparently now have an entire region
then he picks some of the elite and they get to work with aoj to fight the worms and become xx-saber

I don’t think they ever were the same monster. I looked over the lore and trivia on Yugipedia. Lore says they come from the same school of swordplay but the trivia section says they have the same beard. On closer inspection, Urbellum doesn’t have a beard. That’s a chin guard. So that piece of trivia is wrong

Their outfits are different with slight similarities (which isn’t odd for archetypical monsters), Urbellum has a smaller frame than Souza, and their effects are different. Yugipedia doesn’t even mention the connection between Invoker and Souza their trivia sections so I wouldn’t call it a reliable source
