Well, IMO, doing a big full-description text wall without nothing else in between is a bit boring because you halt the plot, unless the description itself is otherworldly or strange or the focus of a certain action, etc. Specially with clothes that in a more realistic setting won't really matter that much, unless it's a general description to give a mood or to better represent the personality of the character.

I like this version better. It gives you a more general description that still is specific enough.
At the center of the meet and greet, a man was kissing the pristine black shoes of who apparently was the focus of an excited crowd.
The roof lamps were pointing directly to the crowd, accentuating the joyful yet awkward smile of the violet haired man with a matching purple waistcoat with light blue decors. who didn’t seem fazed at all, enjoying the admiration.
Again, trying to keep as many elements of your original because idk what would be relevant later or not.

This one is a more interesting because it comes from the situation, you're using something in the environment and the thoughts of the character to start the description. Although usually you use this kind of reflection-description to enhance the feelings of the character or them realizing they changed in a way.
Still, again: 1. All I've said is my opinion, you can do whatever you want lol.
2. The only issue that i see (again, IMO) for one-time fully fledged visual descriptions without any real purpose is that it halts the progress of the story for a bit and breaks immersion.
I don't think "yugioh fanfic" should be the measurement to do or not to do something.

I think the only duelist from another dimension who used rituals was alexis and like leo akaba was able to provide duel academy with xyz as shown by dennis so it makes sense that she can use rituals
