that said, lamp gregor does get worse for deluge as
he is -2 on s1, -1 on s2, and neutral on s3
by all means sinclair and meursault (for now) are permabenched
butterfly: kodya, solemn lament, jeongmael, udjat outis, fa/s ryoshu, lamp greg, your choice of: dieci hong lu, index fau (or butler can work too), index don, or wild hunt heath
butterfly only needs to maintain count. afterwards, you will want ids with lots of coins
dieci hong lu can pretty reliably use his s1 to get 2 or 3 coins with its repeat
wh heath has nice and easy to access higher atk weight and a nuke s3 (unreliable)
and a good 3 coin s2
index fau and don have really good use in longer fights
they become positive after turn 3 if you activate their conditionals iirc (at the very least faust does) and they do a ton of damage, both having a pretty fair amount of coins with index don notably getting a 4 coiner + unbreakables
deluge is all about getting fat count.
jeongmael, kodya (positive sp may be needed), fa/s ryoshu, udjat outis, edgar greg, butler faust, spicebush should be your current go-to
they all wanna make sure your count is high before spicebush s3s for nuclear damage
wh heath and r corp hongers can both do well here... but fa/s ryoshu kinda stole their job rn. granted: if you are not careful with ryoshu in spicebush, she can accidentally fuck your stack. pay attention to stagger thresholds + her ammo count so as to not have her accidentally eat your stack
don can be index or sheep its fine either way
in long fights with deluge (why are you bringing deluge to long fights), index don will win out
you can also throw caution to the wind and go pure generalist btw

its hard to beat reliability imo
and also rodya has some great egos to carry with for p much all teams
