yixuan is deceptively simple and forgiving to play but you need to actually know her mechanics to make use of them lol
frankly i think the community in general overstates how hard she is to play, people said she's harumasa level and it's like not even the same galaxy of difficulty as harumasa
she's similar difficulty to eve imo, who is really not that hard once you get the hang of her stun combos
then again there was that pompey fight i saw on reddit where someone had an eve/lighter/astra team and scored like 10k more points than i can with that team with the same basic gear (no dupes or eve sig)
so maybe there's some secret tech that juices her damage bigly that i'm just not privy to and that's where the challenge really ramps up
i did recently discover you can do a perfect EX dodge and parry to lighter on the same attack which is super nice for generating her resource + setting up lighter simultaneously
but that's not a 10k point damage difference
i suspect it's just a buff maintenance diff, properly setting up disk + party buffs before going into stun window can make a big difference

The specific criteria as to what makes one is unkown, but the hana association gives the colour and title to fixers who "demnnstrate great renwon" in a particular field, so its assume that it just goes to the best at a particular thing. Of course this being the city, they are also almost always absolute killing machines.
The average colour fixer can probably deal with ricardo himself without much issue truth be told, but powerscaling in this verse is a bit wack so who knows
