The one additional thing I'll say is: If you are particularly fast in the early steps and because of that no new Alpha appears in the middle, wait at least until the next 25% marker on the time has passed (without going into the nighttime). For the 5th to appear I had to wait until the last 25% time marker, before it wouldn't show up.

You can indeed do it with range attackers and large attackers, but it is really hard
