Mew ripped away viability of quite a few decks
Rapid Strike only just got around to competing again after Mew completely buried it in the water.
Decks not named Arceus that used the Inteleon engine were destroyed by Mew, like Leafeon and Ice Rider
And single prize decks could not compete because the next best deck after Mew during Fusion Strike was Jolteon VMax, which was like 1 of only 2 decks that could stand up to Mew before VStars
In fact when Brilliant Stars came around, Jolteon became unviable due to Manaphy and single prize decks outside of Moltres could compete again a little better
Leafeon now is no longer a viable pick because it relied on a retreat cost buffing stadium that rotated, and its replacement is worse.
Lugia dominating a format is also a real anomaly becuase they decided to change rotation in such a way that Lugia got access to a lot more cards it normally would not had (pushed rotation out 6 months to line up with Base SV)

The defensive stats are self explanatory, you eat just about any special hit well, you can eat CC from cb urshifu over 60% of the time (might look into raising this), speed i'm actually upping to 76 so you can outspeed the bulkier dragonite build
