Title explains it all. Despite my engines being placed obviously to push it forward, the plane just goes backwards. No idea why. Would love to show a video but KSP 2 doesn't want to be a program OBS can actually capture and record so shrugs

also to state the obvious, the plane isn't "rolling backward", the thrust of the engines is actively making it go backwards when activated and throttled up.

Thrust display is, of course, correct.

Same thing has been happening to me with my large SSTO attempts, using both whiplash and rapiers.

Your horizontal stabilizers are in the engine exhaust

there is currently a bug where things in exhaust plumes are pushed harder than they should be
