1k dv is pretty damn good for a transfer, btw you can use ike to slow yourself down
Use the atmosphere
Like 25km periapsis for aerobraking at duna
Will cost 0m/s of dv to capture
Quite decent but i do recommend a equatorial orbit if your doing an appolo style mission
if you want to see when the next transfer window is you can use the ingame alarm to set an alarm for the next planet to planet transfer window
astrogator
not kerbal alarm clock
not the ingame alarm clock
only ever use astrogator
nothing else
if you use console
well you're fucked ig
If you use console you have a screen big enough to fit a protractor
in vanilla ksp you can set alarms, if you scroll down in the menu for when it goes off you can set it to transfer windows and then choose what planet you want to leave and which one you want to go to
