Hey, I’m new to ksp and I’m curious how Kerb-Net works. I currently have a Probodobodyne OKTO probe in orbit around kerbal. I’m wondering how it works because I think it can be used to find new locations including launch sites?

But it would be nice if I could get an explanation on how that works, if it does it automatically or something. Thanks ❤️

on any probe core's rightclick menu is a button labelled KerbNet Access, which brings up the panel for it. By default it will be an altimetry view of beneath the craft, some vessels can open a biome map instead. Which vessels can use biome mode, what the minimum and maximum FoVs are and whether it can detect anomalies is given in their VAB infobox.

I don't think anybody knows what the % value in the anomaly detection stat actually means beyond that 0 = cannot.
