Mainsail and Twin Boar

What's their respective pros and cons and when should I use which?

mainsail i think its better for first stages and atmospheric flights and twin boar best for second stages

I’m pretty sure twin boars don’t have any bottom attachment nodes which means you pretty much can’t use them as second stages

Even if you could use it as a second stage, there’s usually better options like a rhino

Both the mainsail and twin boar are more commonly used as first stage engines

The twin boar has a significantly higher twr and is cheaper than the mainsail. The downsides are a slightly lower isp, no alternator and no lower attachment node. I almost never use the mainsail; if the ship is large enough to use one of these the twin boar is generally better

yep twin boar is generally better and cheaper version of the mainsail. If you don't need the bottom attachment node Twin Boar is just better 99% of the time.
