@gritty salmon - Apologies for the confusion - please allow me to clarify. The Challengermode team worked extremely hard to address all the various scoring-related hiccups from yesterday and resolve the cross-regional questions. Please understand that this is a very early beta test for Project ZETA, and it is the first time we have attempted to semi-automate tournament scoring based on game data. Some hiccups are to be expected - that's what beta testing is all about!
It is indeed the case that NA players and EU players can participate in both competitions throughout the weekend by simply server swapping during each region's play times. Players will still need to register for both Challengermode competitions if they wish to be ranked in both.
Keep in mind that only the matches played on the NA server will count towards the NA leaderboard, and EU server matches will count towards the EU leaderboard.
