cannot find the player log as stated in your crash logging tutorial
I logged in today on my second PC and all my stuff was gone, I thought "oh, no big deal, saves are just saved to the PC and not the cloud"
I log in on my main PC and EVERYTHING is gone. 6 hours sunk into collecting and completing objectives. and my whole account has been reset to 0. including the hat from the shack statue. really disapointing.

I had the same thing happen to me with my steam deck. I played on my pc for about 2 sessions, then today I opened the game on my steam deck and all my stats are at 0. My PC stats were reset as well when I checked.

I also just tried Sledding Game on my steam deck and it reset all my progress on the steam cloud save. checked on my desktop and it was reset there as well. should have backed up my save before hand

This happened to me today as well. Played on my Steam Deck for the first time and had 0 progress, thought it was strange but when I logged back on my PC it had reset progress as well.

sorry for late reply, I did not play the demo or have it installed. if you need any more info let me know! although I did notice the save files were prefixed "DEMO_" when I went to see if the backup save was any good (it was not)
