#War during age transition

YES! I don't like the time pressure of having to finish a war because the age is about to end. I'd rather be able to continue it right after the next age begins.
Exactly
I’d rather not; there’s a gap of many years between one age and the next, and civilizations can even change (okay, I know it’s not mandatory anymore), but I think it would be weird. We have the percentage for each age and then the 10-turn countdown; I believe wars should be treated like everything else: the age is about to end, so you have to hurry to wrap everything up, whether it’s wars or producing commanders, walls, buildings, and (if you use the continuity option) units useful in the next age.
The developers are now doing everything they can to remove the sense of discontinuity that occurs with the change of ages. At this point, keeping wars active would be an added bonus. If a player wants to stick with the old options, there's always the regroup mode.
Perhaps this could be in the collapse mode 👀
mmm, actually I hope it will be introduced in continuity precisely because it would be the option that keeps as many things as possible unchanged between one age and another

I disagree or dislike this suggestion. I like playing my games mostly peaceful when im going for culture and science. Usually means im not ready for wars. Un the last 20 turns there are some civs that decide they want a piece of my booty and my only saving grace is that age transition. At crisis time usually your units have all the buffs from the era. But at the beginning of the era you start with dry bone units and diety Ai starts with their bonuses. It would be highly unfair to start the new age in war mode with a huge handicap, war weariness, and unhappiness from resources disappearance, and traderoutes removed
it would be useful to reduce the sense of separation between one age and another. The suggestion is for continuity mode; one can play in regroup mode if one doesn't want continuous wars.
Would be part of a huge update then. Continuity with war, the loss of bonuses, reset of everything would need to be done away with. I'm all for carrying over pantheon and narrative event bonuses
