I care deeply about the development of this title to which I am very attached. I believe it is necessary to let the developers know that the era transition as seen in the workshop is very sloppy. Where have the beautiful cutscenes that introduced the next era gone? Where are the details, the information, related to the leader and the civilization, that accompanied access to the new era? And is it normal to compete with a civilization in the ancient era, only to be able to adopt it in the era of exploration? I believe that, to please a community bewildered and angry about the new mechanics introduced by Civ7 (which should have had time to be assimilated), this game is being distorted. Improvements were necessary, but not a demolition. I repeat: the era transition as planned in this workshop is unacceptable. It may be fine for those who want to play with only one civilization; but what is provided in this patch penalizes those who appreciate the change of civilization.

It's still a work in progress.
I hope it doesn't stay like this. The footage that introduced the next era could be watched (I liked it a lot) or skipped. But I think it's a mistake to remove it.
I feel like they should've waited a bit more to make this big change too.
I also enjoy current age transition mode and civ in specific era. One Civ, All Age may not be that promising.
The game high level design has no problem. I only feel below problems:
- UI
We heavily rely on mods to reduce number of mouse clicking. - AI
Latest patch makes AI waging war early and frequently, but it mainly slow themselves down, not player, due to weak analytical capabilities. - Some legacy path and crisis is unrelated (or insignificant), I think this will be improved in ToT updates.
- Feel not so good in happiness related mechanism (maybe lack of housing/too linear)
@hushed otter Your post is over in the workshop, it doesn't need to be here as well - it's going to confuse people who are not in the workshop and have no clue about the changes.
