I'm so frustrated that there is no good way to make peace with the AI. I was at war for so long and they had taken 3 of my towns and would not make peace even with me offering another town. I was playing on immortal so I know it isn't supposed to be easy but the game did not feel fun with there being no way to convice them to peace out. They should bring back offering gold/resources for peace, benefits everyone.

Agreed, there needs to be a way to offer or demand something other than cities

And seemingly they will only make peace when you have a military advantage or offer them back their own cities (we’ll probably any cities) which can be very frustrating to deal with. Especially if you’re in the defensive. You’re basically forced to conquer just for peace.

I find it frustrating that you are locked out of even asking for peace for several turns. Even when the AI declared the war!
