can you elaborate on that please?

this seems to work fine for me: the camera shifts towards the unit that was attacked (or is it to the unit that made the attack?)

Oh, this is what you mean! you want the camera to shift there during the action on the turn transition, is that right?

if that's the case, I'd want it to be optional, but now I get your point. Thanks!

Didn’t they mention that was coming on PC? One of the patches that’s not on consoles yet?

A camera pan, a sound effect, anything extra would be helpful. Many notifications are empty of context, so it gets to the point that one stops looking at them at all. I had a hostile independent capture and get ten turns into razing one of my 12 cities before even realizing what had happened. Not okay
