Pretty much the title. I have played many matches so far and more often than not when I move to a new age I am disappointed that the civ I want to pick is locked. Some of them are locked just because I didnt pick a certain leader. I think it be more fun if you could pick whoever you wanted to. Or at the very least have a game option to do the same.

the only one thats pretty hard locked is Hawaii eberything else you can play and unlock during gameplay even if you picked a different leader

The point isn't that its not possible. Its that it could be more fun to not have to worry about it or have the option to turn it off in match creation. Like sometimes you can just get screwed by RNG. The Inca you need to "Have three Settlements with at least three Mountains each." and that can be extremely difficult if the map seed is not in your favor. I noticed sometimes my entire continent only has 3 camels and 2 of them were in the other players capital. Just stuff like that. Either way, the more custom game options the better.
