If I was you, I would do everything in my power to pitch some of these story ideas to AdHoc themselves for a season 2

I can really see how your writing has evolved from the first couple pages to any of the new ones. This is some quality writing
One question though, so I can see how some of the choices that you would make in game tie in to this story i.e. Waterboy being on the Z-Team, obviously romancing Invisigal, but Im wondering, in this story was Shroud spared or did Robert kill him. It's your story so it is completely up to you, but I would prefer if you took the route of Shroud being spared, as he is a character that you might be able to do some things with later in the story. No major roles ofc because you already set up a fantastic new villain, but I would like to see Shroud make some sort of appearance somewhere along the way. These are just my personal recommendations/opinions tho

Also I read the stuff from the website and one of the things you said was that your were trying to show some character development and emotions that some characters might not have shown in the game, and you're doing a really good job with that, the flow of the story stays pretty strong throughout and I can imagine the scenes in my head as im reading
