I think it would be good if all items were stacked so that you don't always have to take 30 items at a time from the chest. Also, if I put something back in the chest, it should be automatically stacked and not create a new stack. I think that would improve the overview in the chest. That means one stack per item in the chest. The number of items could go up to 10,000 or 20,000, so you can farm in peace without having to worry.

I'm torn because I like the idea of getting to see all my loot. but when im crafting i hate sifting through everything. I think I have to side with simplified inventory in the long run

Yeah, the inventory stacking is a problem. It actually gives me anxiety. Why in the world can we not stack everything?!?!
