#Skills too weak (useless) / Attacks too strong. Bad balance.

Currently, I find the balance between skills and normal weapon attacks very poor.

What do I mean by that?

For many skills, it's simply not worth using them because the damage is extremely weak. If I theoretically want to deal a lot of damage, I can just use my strongest weapon and spam my mouse button.

If I also have the buff shout that gives me attack speed, then no skill is worth using anymore.

This is a real shame, because the skills are actually well-designed. Many skills need buffs, and/or weapon damage should be reduced by 15-30%.

A lot of skills are about physics and cheese. Used "correctly" they can clear a lot of enemies.

Skills that are straight damage with no gimmicks are the weak ones not worth using compared to your free-swing weapon.

Some skills have terrible targeting (boomerang). Once they fix that, we'll see.

What GrailQuest said.

The bigger issue is more intuitively communicating each skill's "good use" potentials, and bringing their damage/physics impact better in line with their VFX and hit-feedback.

I've run into more than a few skills with visual effects that LOOK like they should send enemies flying. . . yet barely stagger more than standard attacks.

. . .and then there's boomerang, which would kill 2 enemies and launch a 3rd across the map.
||Actually I think they already nerfed boomerang. . .? But I digress lol||
