Ranked mode is zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I don't know why they don't just make ranked a 3v3 teamfight in a small warehouse style map. Just make a 2-team map where you have to loot 3 ranked tags to activate the exfil, and give elo based on win/loss only. Keep the gear ante. Winner take all dog-fight. Loot the enemies and leave.

The way they have the system set up, the smartest thing everyone could do would be to meet in the center of the map, throw all their gear on the ground and swap with another player, and then everyone go to exfil and reset.

Don't get me wrong, the system is definitely flawed. But just clarifying that so ppl don't think the bonus is capped the way the bar looks

You can rack up a +20k bonus from collecting enough coins from events, bosses etc and holotags

If it works that way then it's bugged. The loot bar at the top is broken into score target and overperformance. No matter how much you loot, you will never got past your normal score target unless you loot chips or tags, at which point the overperformance section will begin to fill up based on the value of the tag. Your maximum possible overperformance is supposed to be based on the 3 tags that your team enters with. Bungie has it listed on their ranked rules page. They also state that once your bar is filled, you should go exfil because you are unable to get more points.

Three platinum tags is supposed to give you a maximum possible team overperformance of 6,750 for example.

I'll definitely abuse it, don't get me wrong, but that's not the intended way it should work if it does function like you said.

Imo since it’s kinda end game we should get cryo 24/7. I can’t see any reason to play any other map since their loot is so Ass except for gold key rooms. (All those damn keys are so rare) and worst of all outpost red room is still quite shit loot.

I don’t find enjoyment out of cryo especially with most of weapons which are fun to use are the close range guns like misrah bully etc

there is never a gurantee but if you try doing it with a trio as soon as it opens thats your best bet. Everyone is likely running free kit or not doing compiler/6 keys at first drop so you wont have much difficulty
