I have a Ryzen 5950x, a cpu with two dies and 32 threads. used hwid and a stress test to find my strongest cores, which were all on a single die, CCD0, using process lasso I pushed everything else I could to CCD1 where the weaker cores are and pinned marathon to CCD0

I was doing this before but in reverse cuz I didn't realize how much stronger my stronger cores were, like 3 of them were 400mhz faster than the fastest CCD1 core

not letting other programs be on the same core as the game also reduces crashing a lot, esp when caused by an overlay

so I don't get crashes from opening the steam overlay and now i'm getting 70-80fps on outpost

if u have an x3d Ryzen or an intel processor with P cores you can lock the game to the P cores/cores that have 3d cache only and that's supposed to help a ton

i don't really know what to do that would make assassin more balanced, I mean I think just having the counterplay shells be a little more viable.

It's strong but also the stealth only lasts 10 seconds by default - playing as assassin I've died plenty of times too so to me it's hard to say they're totally OP.

Maybe in solo they're stronger than trios, in trios there's usually a thief/recon/destroyer or just more than one set of ears - to fight back a little better. but yeah ... it feels wrong (but right...) when I just stab someone to death from my stealth
