D2 has crappy optimization, real bad it’s maxing out my gpu more than cod, even with a fps limiter, no matter what I do the gpu is hitting that 100%, destiny doesn’t really look that good for doing that, I have a 7700xt pretty decent gpu and this game is maxing it out on all low settings including cvars tweaks

My personal take on Marathon, I am very optimistic. The alpha already looked good to me, and what they showed from the recent update looks even more promising. However, I do have a worry. I think Bungie has been working on two projects, which is why it has taken so long. Also with Sony pivoting from the original live service plan, I worry that Marathon might not get a lot of post launch support as most of the team would move onto the other project, if there is one.

The one thing I am concerned about is how the player driven story stuff they talked about in the original announcement seems to be gone. I think that was going to be the secret sauce for the game, and I think "seasonal story telling" was the root of a lot of Destiny's issues.
