Hello, i want to install Paperless on my Proxmox Server.
I am unsure, how to backup the data bc there is important data in it.
I have a truenas with enough space and want to store all documents of paperless on a SMB-Share. How can i do it?
Also I want to scan on an smb-share and than that the paperless lxc the document auto taged and sorted. Is this possible?
I have a backup server which saves the lxcs also on the nas.

I had the same use case as you.
My solution was to mount the paperless-share on my NAS in the Paperless LXC.
Then configure PAPERLESS_MEDIA_ROOT in /opt/paperless/paperless.conf to point at the mounted folder.
This way the lxc stays a modest size bc there are no documents stored in it.

Hey people. Did paperless-ngx just work when you installed it or did you have to do post-config?
I don't want to have to resort to a docker installation as I feel it may mess up my desire to use my super scanner.

Paperless-NGX works out of the box with English as preinstalled OCR language, if you want to add more languages, you have to manually type the commands. Thats the only post setup needed afaik
Also, if any script needs more config after the installation, it will be noted on the scripts webpage
