I did not make that script, i did OpnSense. But i have a look tommorow.
ah 😄
@stable cargo did you run default ir advanced?
can you create an issue in gh for possible merge fix?
Sure thing, I'll do that in a few.
I just looked at the script, what are your interfaces called on your Pve Node?
im wondering wher this long interface name comes from
lol 😄
Did I send the wrong thing? Again, brand new to this 😆
nah its the right thing. its just that interface name is hileriously long^^ Never seen that before in 15 years 😅
but that is why it fails, can you try and rename it to something „sane“
I set a vlan tag as 100 for one of the network interfaces of my VM. Then I started it and ran into a bug.
Error: argument "enp86s0f0np0.100" is wrong: "name" not a valid ifname
can't add vlan tag 100 to interface enp86s0f0np0 - command '/sbin/ip link add link enp86s0f0np0 name enp86s0f0np0.100...
give this a try, when the interface name is more normal the script should run fine
That worked! Thanks a ton!! @languid bridge @vocal nymph
