Performing consecutive parries in quick succession inflicts a debuff called Parry Fatigue on the player. This debuff stacks in level the more consecutive parries are performed, and each stack reduces the parry window by a fixed amount. In other words, a longer parry window allows for more consecutive parries, while a shorter window limits consecutive parries. Furthermore, the application of this effect should be probabilistic rather than guaranteed, and accessories that reduce fatigue should be added.
This prevents bosses with attack patterns that are too easy to predict (due to their slow attack speed), like Cataclysm bosses, from being tanked too easily.
