At what point am I spamming MS to have a similar amount of casts as other MM doing 10% more than me? I decided to look at similar logs to a +9 Arakara and you have a very similar amount of MS casts as the other MM hunters for that key level.
Even looking at the +13 log on the new patch (https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/4Xd7DZFpRWyMhV6x#fight=4&type=damage-done) we can see that this guy only has 20 more casts of MS than you.
The amount of multishots that we can cast on the new patch has been essentially cut in half because we went from 2 stacks of precise shots to 1 stack. It went from two casts for 40 focus to two casts for 60 focus, which is going to leave us a lot more focus starved (meaning less MS casts and more steady shot casts). With the pin cushion talent, we are redistributing that lost damage from multishot back into our aimed shot. Ultimately meaning we cast multishot about 50% less than before and cast aimed shot more.
What happened is you were probably just looking at top runs for Arakara (which is not filtered by patches) and you just clicked on the +15 by Banshers which was on the old patch where we were casting Multishot A LOT more.
