I am relatively new to survival, and can't understand why my DPS is so subpar compared to other people in my bracket. Is it just my mastery being so low? Am i doing something wrong in my rotation?
Could someone assist please?

Thanks in advance, and bonus thanks if you can tell me why every other S Hunter seems to have a secondary source of Mongoose Bite/Raptor Strike, seems to be some kind of CD?

First of course, raise your item level. Ilvl parses are weird and that's the best way to just raise your parses in general.

Logs are always hard to analyze, comparing them to mine from tonight you seem to be doing fine? You do have a suspicious amount of mongoose bite casts on some fights.
It's... very hard to tell but you do maybe have some rotational improvements to make.

If the log is accurate your opener is a bit of a mess?

Bloodbound delayed start (like when I sometimes forget to have my pet out) and still bad opener

You know you can hunters mark before combat? that seems to be a common theme

humm, I knowticed the Mongoose disparancy too, but can't figure out what I should be doing instead as other abilities seem mostly on par?

I'll look into improving the opener, thanks for that! and yes, mark is a silly thing I seem to forget until we just about pull most of the time >.>

Actually I take that back I found 10 more mongoose bites hidden in my log. We have a similiar amount

Honestly it might just be rotation, gear and lining up CDs

(it took me ages to figure out that mongoose is from aspect of eagle mongoose XD

any specific advice for rotation? or lining up certain CD's?

Check by in #💣-survival-⚔️ and see if anyone has the rotation picture, I know the written out version in the guides is a bit daunting and complicated. You get a feel for it eventually.
Your opener is like bomb(and harpoon at the same time) -> goose (to apply the poison) -> bomb (to spend 2nd charge) -> spearhead -> coordinated assault (gives you back bomb) -> spend 2 spear -> flanking strike -> normal rotation

Keep on trucking. It's not rocket science but can also be quite involved (especially with the stupid owl). But you'll get there
