I am running into an issue where sometimes my pets will pull something that is not aggro’d nor targeted by me. I have tab targeting disabled, I have the passive pet attack macros set up, and I have auto target disabled. Below is a clip that shows mobs on the left and a random dude on the right, in the middle of the pull on the left my pets go to the unaggro’d/not targeted guy on right. Seeing if anyone has ran into this and what ways did you fix it? Thanks!

you pretty clearly targeted the guy on the right and kill commanded it

and it gets a new target (center of screen)

and that happens to be the one you aren't in combat with

I can't remember if it still exists, someone correct me if I'm wrong but you should be able to disable acquiring a new target when you push an ability in options

ranged abilities dont act like that, only melee ones (sv bombs still counts as melee for some reason)

u sure u dont have some macro with startattack or targetenemy commands?

o yeah jus ttested, doesn't do that with KC from the book but my KC macro has startattack in it and it gets a new target when I push it

either way root cause is still the same, can see in that clip the mob dies, you gain a new target, and then your pets go to that target

I have bad eye sight and often dont see the position of my pets especially with all the light effects in AOE. Therefore I use a makro in hectic situationswhcu bring my pets back to the tank (focus target). /cleartarget
/targetenemy
/assist [@focus]
/startattack
/cast Mal des Jägers
/startattack

i had this problem with Saison 2 too. Disable auto targeting and it should be solved. Autotargeting doesnt have a priority of "infight" or "not infight". it is just targeting the next mob in your camera view.
