#Struggling to choose spec

Hi, I was playing Survi in last patch, but now i'm thinkings about changing to BM. I have 2 questions.

  1. Which spec is looking better in next patch and how much of difference it is? (probably heroic + couple mythic bosses, not pro push lvl).
  2. Is BM now hard to pick up? (never played "for real" in raids.

  1. Looking at the sims from ptr, BM is looking to be stronger, sure things can change over the course of the patch but generally BM is always more valuable than a surv when their dmg numbers are similar simply due to the fact that they are range and not melee. I too am a stick hunter main that is playing BM for this season sadge . If your goal/ your guilds goal is to play for curve and dip a bit into mythic. It doesnt really matter what you play as along as you play your spec good and play the mechanics.

  2. Bm was probably never hard to pick up and due to the design choices of the spec, rarely ever will be. You apply a dot and keep it at 3 stacks which more or less even happens naturally. Then you dump KC everytime its up. And you just full blast your cooldowns when they are up. And in the rare occurence where you have nothing else to press you go Cobra. It's not just a meme that it is a 3 button spec. It really is one. Though with so much KC cd reduction we have its more or less a 2 button spec once we pressed our cd's.

  3. As to what you should or what you want to play its open to you. If you dont aim to push keys higher than 20, and dont aim to full clear raid on mythic. I'd say you are free to play simply what you enjoy more. You can give BM a try or stick true to Stickman. Hope it helps a bit :)
