I have recently been playing exclusively MM in raid and M+. I happened to drop the heroic bow from the weekly quest. I heard that once you receive the bow, bm is the move. My first question is if that is dependent on me not having tier at all yet. My only other question is once I have 4 pc as well as the bow, how do I know which raid bosses or m+ dungeons I'm supposed to play which spec in(Is there some sort of post that says which spec to play on which boss)? Thank you for the help in advance

You look at logs and see what spec is most used
And play both
Youre a hunter main, not a spec main
👍
Ah okay thank you I'll look at the logs to see which bosses I should be playing which spec on. In regard to BM though, is it worth me switching over before tier(I can't tell if the logs are assuming people have tier or not).
Mm is ahead of bm in dps till you get bow and tier
Okay thank you very much for the quick responses!
I have both the NHC bow and Tier Set. According to my sims, in comparison with my Mythic Eranog bow, BM is now better, but only on single target. For Mythic+ and AoE bosses (which is essentially every boss except Terros and maybe Kurog/Sennarth/Broodkeeper) I'd still go MM with mythic Eranog Bow (unless my guild needs more prio target dps). Would that be correct?
Yes, that was based on logs
I'm just wondering if we see this many more top MM logs because fewer people have access to bow & 4 set and thus fewer people have the opportunity to make good logs
And that therefore logs are disproportionately skewed towards MM
Like on heroic Kurog, 43 out of the top 100 logs are BM, but if more hunters had bow and 4 Set, that number would certainly be higher. So right now it looks like MM is better on that fight, when it probably isnt
