u know when playing S3 story u can pick some wood to use it as weapon, and back then it's only have 1 moveset
so the new weapons will likely be an improved version of this, with the chinese traditional weapon, and some of it will have their own mechanism

After all it’s MoreFun Studio’s livestream, there are many other games on the list, even though THO already took almost half an hour just to explain their progress

I think it’s fine they’re explaining the upcoming game developments and the game polishing phase, but since they showed those new scenes they’ve been keeping in the basement for months since July in the teaser regarding the first 2 arcs of the manhua, people expected to see more of that but we just get very little crumbs

And thats true though, they probably want to talk about other games since it is about the entire studio’s development

I just don’t get how they keep marketing first 2 arcs cutscenes in the game for pre-beta, but none of those appear in the from June - August beta 😭 which pissed off a lot of people

I understand why you might be frustrated, but I think it's much wiser for them to show us their progress instead of more story content right now since there is no upcoming beta or release date announced.

What people really needed to know (not "wanted to know"), is that the game is still being developed and that there is a lot of progress and effort still being made.

The longer they keep us in the dark about what they're doing with the story, the better, honestly. That will just leave more things for us to experience hands-on, rather than through an update video.

I think it’s frustrating ( especially from CN people’s voices ) because the teasers and trailers meant for June-August beta test show some of new scenes and gameplay ( especially new locations — like the location in Zhang Lingyu skin outcase, and new game cutscenes and new boss fights between Feng Baobao versus Baron, Zhang Lingyu versus Zhang Chulan, Quanxin versus Zhang Chulan - Feng Baobao ) but we got literally none of that in the beta. The CN people also thought we’re all gonna get those stuffs and content in the beta because those stuffs are meant to tease the June-August beta, but we just get nothing. Even CN people are super pissed about this for a few months in xhs because what is marketed to tease the upcoming beta— they do not get it at all

I don’t mind them currently showing their progress for the livestream, because it shows that they’re still polishing some stuffs from the game, and it is about MoreFun Studio, and the game has been in development since pre-2021, but man I just wish they just show a tiny bit more especially a clearer bigger roadmap rather than “yeah we get all your feedbacks from October and we’re working on them now” 🥹

Or it’s pre-2020 the game has been development, I forget

I know they probably can’t show more because they don’t want to mislead the players but it would be nice to get another trailer, like the Naruto mobile game new cutscenes ( though its to celebrate the game anniversary )

Especially every December 3-15 we keep getting new trailers for this game

Sorry I’m just frustrated overall and maybe it’s because I’ve been seeing angry CN players in my xhs feed about the livestream because they’re also expecting a bit more news too

Honestly all I had to know was that they were actually developing the game making something new, it's not a perfectionist thing where you want everything to be perfect, it's more of experimenting and trying to imply that into the game

The story and PvE content being worked on, and I saw proof of that. They improved PvE made some interesting changes with it. Same with Story mode where you can now choose some different paths along the way so it would make the gameplay unique and interesting for every player

Yeah I’m glad they’re developing the game and what used to be marketed as a PVP game (ish) now become its own unique game as they’re trying to find a balance between PVP and PVE

But the issue was that we got so many boss fights that were teased for June-August beta, but we just got none of that 😭

That’s one of the biggest issue why CN players ( and I ) are complaining

That together with some months of silence ( which I don’t mind because they should just let the game cook and they can just delay it longer but CN people were super impatient about it), plus the 30 minutes segment caused uproar amongst the yrzx community ( especially from IP fans and game fans )

Though there were people theorizing the game’s unknown release date and testing date was because they were waiting for Season 6 donghua’s release date and capitalizing the hype

( S6 was slated to be released on March of this year but got pushed back, and it got delayed 3-5 times and now people suspected it would be middle of next year )

I get the frustration, Ix, but I think it's worth noting that a lot of these sentiments from players are simply just their outlook on it. Realistically, the game trailers only were meant to tease future gameplay and drum up hype for the beta; it wasn't ever stated that this content would be in the beta. And it's realistically better we leave out as much single-player one-time completion content out of the betas as possible to leave a richer release full of first time content.

The final floor was likely be an endgame content which reset weekly/monthly (just my thought), but the thing is we just gonna look for gold item with ER stat to get better score which is very repetitive
And the only character that can maximize this fight style is only Wang ye, cuz his fire skill has very short animation and deal huge dmg
Ignore other fight styles cuz it would be 50% worse

In most cases, if the closed beta test already has monetization, it means that the game is very close to launch ( because you need CN government’s permission to do monetization and it’s usually the last step before launching open beta )

Like Ash Echoes, R1999 and other games, after they tested monetization in the last closed beta test, they launched the game within 2-4 months

So it falls in line with the open beta test being October-November

Also, when the game has passed a review for open-public license, the government gives them 1 year to do this

If they don’t publish the game within the year, their license got revoked, so they have to renew the license again by repeating the same arduous steps again

Player Mimi Mimi Mimi mentioned that many scenes in the game feel quite dark. Will there be different scene designs later on? Yes, there will be. Even nighttime scenes won’t necessarily feel like this in the future.
Another player, feeling a bit puzzled, asked why the background of Yiwenlu looks somewhat like an old-fashioned photography studio. Why did we choose this kind of setting?
We wanted to find a platform that could showcase all characters, and it also needed to be universal—no matter which character walks into it.
So it doesn’t really matter who it is. A photography studio is actually a very good thematic choice, because it allows artists from different times and spaces to all gather into the same shared space.

It feels like I’m sitting here taking a photo for you right now. Once that feeling is presented cinematically, players will definitely start wondering, “When is the Tang Sect chapter coming out?” They’ll be very excited about it. We’re also really looking forward to it—it’s something we very much want to create.
Next question, quickly, quickly. Player “Wu Yue Gun” asks: in the game’s login video, there’s a scene where the Old Heavenly Master is reading a newspaper on a bus. Is this an easter egg foreshadowing the “Heavenly Master Descends the Mountain” storyline?

There probably will be. At the personal level, most characters may have their own corresponding individual stories.

“Could the art team introduce what the art style of Under One Person is like?”

So, we’ve gone through several stages, experimenting with two or three different directions and eventually synthesizing them. I think our current style is the result of that synthesis—it gradually emerged through iteration. Based on each previous version, we focused on how to optimize and improve, eventually shaping what we have now. We also incorporate a lot of Taoist cultural philosophies and ideas.
You can see this reflected in elements like the reverse-flow fish tank and the ranked match icons. Each rank’s design has its own logic—why is it underwater? Because it’s all part of one coherent design system. Over time, that system gradually evolved into our current art style.
Looking ahead, we hope everyone will participate more in our themed activities through the mini program. If you have any ideas, feel free to share them there. Who knows—your idea might get adopted, and you may even see your contribution reflected in a future version of the game.

fps wasn't an issue on mobile either tbh, I never had any spikes on mobile and I believe the game is locked to 60 on PC, you could say connection maybe I suppose since mobile phones don't have ethernet ports but it's hardly an issue if you have 5G which is pretty standard here these days.

i think there's still an issue, but it's because of demographic. Mobile gamers are typically casual gamers, less sweaty overall than someone with a console or PC, because they typically have busier lives and play in their down-time/free-time/break

Here's some translations with Mi Er ( creator of Yirenzhixia ) on the latest Tencent livestream regarding the Season 6 donghua and manhua. Translations done by Susu from another discord server ( focused on the manhua + donghua discussions on yirenzhixia ):

• Mi Er was facing away from the camera pretty much the entire time ,
• the forest guardians were 3d model -> configured into 2d,
• the music director said there's aout 6 songs total (so two more OP, two more ED?),
  ||- they're already working on season 7... it's implied they ARE adapting Nasen Island arc....,||
• Mi Er argued that QiuLan are not necessarily "schemers"; rather, "youth are never lacking in passion; but youth often don't know what they want. wang zhenqiu and zhang chulan know very clearly what they want/what their purpose is" - and that's what the valley arc is trying to demonstrate (since the theme is "what is a human?"),

well most of games did the same right? pre-reg rewards last for several months
I was just worried that by extended it to end of 2026 they don't have to do it several times like last year, so they just need to extend it again at Dec if the game hasn't been released

and yeah that's make sense if we take positivity, they could release the game at June so the rewards will last for 6 months

Also feel like pre-reg award extension so that like what you said, they don’t have to keep changing the last redemption date so might as well make it to the end of the year 😭

Probably too much of a hassle extending the time period so might as well make it till dec 31

Also they won’t have people (aka us and other cn ppl💔) speculating the release date based of the redemption date
