The most blinged out beetle on the field.
[Roles: Offense, Disruptor, Support] (Similar size and stats to ladybug since they are so small 🥺).
Passive:
- When GT is headbutt or cc’d, he loses his golden color and becomes red-Orange.
- While GT has lost his golden color his move speed running away and headbutt power towards the beetle that activated the passive are increased.
- The golden color comes back after a period of time.
Off-Ball:
- GT stands still and readies his shell in the direction you are looking, then will start reflecting sunlight off of his golden shell.
- Beetles that look in GT’s direction are blinded for a moment, and beetles that are too close will be blinded for longer duration and drop their ball.
- (Allied beetles are blinded for less time and cannot drop a ball from the ability).
On-Ball:
- When pressed GT and the ball are flattened down onto the ground or wall they are on, unable to move.
- While like this you and the ball have no hitbox and cannot be interacted with.
- You can continue to hold the ability to stay flat.
- Once you let go or the ability charge depletes you will spring off of the ground or wall.
- (If used on the ground, GT will get vertical momentum, and if used on a wall you get horizontal momentum. Basically away from wherever you flattened towards.
Explanation for abilities: The passive is simple as GT beetles do this irl and will lose their gold color when scared. The off-ball is the only thing it doesn’t do directly irl but I figured it blinding people by shining sunlight off of its shell was too funny not to have. GT’s will flatten against leaves irl when in danger and I thought it would be a cool way to dodge an opponent trying to take a ball from you.
