Earth Boring Beetle âThis is a tool for laterâŚâ: While holding a ball you can press the [Passive ability key] to bury it into the ground. If it is a 4 or more ball, the top of it sticks out of the ground. Allies and Enemies have to headbutt it to dig it out. (Only 3 balls can be hidden by 1 ebb, Balls cannot be hidden close to the goal, and balls hidden by ebb will have the blue ally indicator).
Fungar Beetle âYou gotta try some of thisâ: While near a bouncy object press the [Passive ability key] to take a bite out of it. Doing so causes your next mushroom placed to be 50% bigger and increase its effectiveness by 50%. (Bouncy objects consists of Map-adjacent mushrooms, Picnicâs jelly, and fungus mushrooms. If used on a fungus mushroom it is instantly depleted. After the big mushroom is placed this passive goes on cooldown.)
Cyborg Beetle âMORE POWER!â: Throughout the match there is a small bar above Cyborgâs off-ball and on-ball indicator. As the match plays out Cyborg will slowly become more charged. This can be sped up by performing actions like headbutting, grabbing, and fluttering. Once the meter is full Cyborg becomes âOverchargedâ and their abilities become upgraded for a short amount of time. The Off-Ball dashes cover more ground, and the laser beam size is increased and can stun people not holding a ball, while the On-Ball thruster has more fuel and moves faster. Once the overcharge ends Cyborgâs overall speed is decreased shortly for 5 seconds and the overcharge meter returns to zero.
Tiger Beetle âYouâre too slow!â: Press the [Passive ability key] to start running at an extreme speed, quickly becoming blind as you reach top speed. When pressed again you are slowed for a second as your vision returns, then the ability goes on cooldown. (You can dash for as long as you want but youâre not seeing a thing past a second of dashing. I donât think you should be able to hold a ball while doing it but maybe some you canât see đ¤ˇ).
