so i think we beat v30 in number of maps
So, since January 2026 it seems almost as many maps were added as the previous year+.
Not including V31
actually i will try to find a way to make the image higher quality
How are your island maps since FloPinguin added https://github.com/openfrontio/OpenFrontIO/pull/3786 ?
Its designed for rivers and only checks up to 4 pixel out, but I see a difference with close island chains
might be a little more friendly
Now the bots just walk over rivers and small island chains are consider continuous.
Maybe he can up the pixels length and lower the sample rate. I think it currently 4 pixels out and every 10 pixels along the border it checks.
Maybe every 6 @ 15 would help island maps more.
I know theres a separate logic for islands, but the river logic is real smooth. LA now acts more like a continuous land mass. Its very nice.
i saw your message. I also noticed in local tests that nations would often miss fully killing other nations because they remained in some small landmass disconnected by a river
It would drive me crazy. The nation expansion along rivers, but not crossing until task A is complete. Then send random transport. Repeat.
