Add the ability for warships to automatically follow and protect attacking boats.
Simply click on the warship you want to move and then on the ongoing boat to follow it.
Since boats are very tiny maybe add a small circle after selecting a warship for easier selection.
Edit: It's not a new gameplay feature, it's just adding the ability to move warships, but where the target point is not fixed but it's a boat.
Edit 2: Since normally boats are shot down even with warships fighting, maybe the warship can encapsule the boat and protect it. Or make so that warships have a small area around like defence posts in which boats cannot be targeted (a very small area).
