I personally think that the current map options are fine, but I think you should be able to customize the map choice you have for single player games, it would be great for most people to have a single game of single player in there own custom/imported map where, for example, the borders in Europe are made of water, or the map is on a different planet, like Venus or some other planets.
If you get what I am saying, good. If you dont, ask here for more info
