I know it said there was a way to do this in the faq but the link just sent me to the EA Help homepage and I can't find the "contact us" page that I remember was there last time I tried this.. I submitted an issue report thingy on the EA Help website but I haven't gotten an email or any kind of response.

Heyo! So EA Support juuust changed the layout, making the guides for getting in touch with an agent outdated. Our team is checking in with the Support team, but in the meantime, you can reach a live chat by scrolling to the bottom of the Support page, clicking "Contact us", and fill out the information fields like my post here:

After you submit, a live chat option should appear on the following page (with a queue timer)
The contact an advisor option doesn't show up for me... I guess I have the wrong issue type or something 🤷
It seems to only show up when specific issues are selected, unfortunately - did you try using the issue I put in?

YIKES. Suppose that tracks, someone in general-1 just had a 157 minute wait, but yiiiikes. If I remember correctly there's certain times of the day that are slower, just in case!

Ohhh hrm, if it was prior to 2021 (when Steam stopped including keys), Steam might be able to help you out with recovering those

EA support is REALLY picky - they require both the steam history and the email, otherwise they'll likely say they can't help you

Needed to use a translate app, but it looks like you don't have the Live Chat option on your page.. that would explain your issue. Did you put in the specific info from #・general-off-topic message ? Only certain topics will allow a “Chat With Us” option to appear, and you'll need to open it from that page
Yes, I followed the instructions. But there is simply no live chat button. There was only a warning that the waiting time is currently high.
This button does not appear in the EA account update, nor in the download and launch topics(
That's odd.. can you try this one and fill use "purchase issues", "spore", etc?
Tried again recently, it seems that it is indeed impossible to get the confirmation receipt for spore from Steam if you bought it in 2016 or before. or something like that. Sent Steam an email and the said they cannot resend it.
