Game purchased in 2014. The email is LONG gone. Steam can't provide a new request. The link method on EA Help for getting receipts doesn't work for old purchases. I think I might be, to put it a bit bluntly, a bit screwed.
Legacy owners beware. There's nothing left for you it seems. Except Offline play, I guess. But I've been doing that alone for 14 years already.

Sorry this might be something you've already checked, but have you tried looking for a key? Steam stopped providing keys in 2021 due to a refund exploit, but it's definitely worth checking to see if a prior purchase may have one

Yeah I distinctly remember those keys. Unfortunately I couldn't find them either on Steam nor on any of my notes.
I may try and ask if Steam Support if they have any of them on record.
But they said they've provided all the purchase info already so I'm not sure.

Nay nay, I was fearing that for sure! I probably would have but they gave me all my DLCs and such no sweat.
It took quite a few tickets between both EA and Steam.
Eventually though someone helped me out.
Wouldn't put this effort into any other game probably, but when I was super small, Spore was one of two disc copy games I had. The other Plants Vs Zombies. And I never got to play online.
