Ea support couldnt help me, for whatever reason i cant install the dlc
No dis to my rep, he did his best. Im not a very smart guy and was very frustrated, not his fault this old as dirt game has so many bugs lol

Doing an actual fresh reinstall of Spore is finnicky, just uninstalling and reinstalling (EA App?) might not do the trick

When I ran into install issues and needed a full uninstall this is more or less how I went about it. A full uninstall and fresh install is probably worth a try

The link I sent is from the Spore Modding Community - has a very clear guide for a full uninstall and includes the uninstaller software that helps catch all the additional files that need to be removed for a clean install

i just tried clean installing it on 2 different pcs and also stuck at 96%
the correct way to install would be installing base spore, than C&C then GA, but via EA App you can olny install Spore bundled with GA
so it always fails when installing C&C because the installer thinks you dont have base spore installed
Many people posted about this on forums, but no solution was except installing on a different pc and copyin the files
if someone can find a real solution, i would appreciate it

Get the game on GOG or try to convince EA customer support you own vanilla spore using your Galactic Adventures key
It's actually not bundled with GA, that's the problem
You need all three of Spore, C&C, and GA for it to work like you said

the way i found to work is using isos and installing over the ea app folder (choosing the spore galactic adventures folder ea app created) each spore version and then asking ea app to repair the installation after each time

Still no luck? I'd actually recommend taking this over to the SMC (where the full uninstall instructions came from) and seeing if someone there has run into the same issue or has any ideas for how to fix it. They're really good with all the little technicals and quirks

Ok so.... it works when launching through steam ONLY, but wont log into my online account

So the issue was having both steam and ea versions installed, hjust get the ea version i guess if you want the online capability

You need to do a complete uninstall if you have both versions, just pick one.
Now that i have the steam version completely uninstalled i was able to download the creepy and cute dlc through ea, and retain my online functionality
