This is what I get for labbing Spika to death LOL. Spika actually has a modified version of "Mahou Jump" that's WAYYY easier to execute than Fernet's.
From my observation, it would seem that Spika's version works through ledge cancelling as opposed to dash cancelling. I came across it because I noticed she would carry her momentum whenever you dash attacked off a ledge. At first I just used it to just ledge cancel into a dash but then... out of nowhere... magical girl powers activate. Voila.
The window here is much better than Fernets because I think the ledge cancel has a longer frame window.
Steps
- Move towards a ledge
- Dash attack off ledge
- Jump at the peak of her slash
- You're a mahou girl now!

Note: It's really fun chaining a wall run ledge cancel into a mahou jump. Best place to try this is the secret "tall" temple in Ash Desert where you have to climb some obstacles.
