The music skill damage build iv been using. You can pretty much beat everything running music and just being tanky so you won't die in 2 hits. Im almost at level 30 Corrective action with no module upgrades. Just lock in
@south needle awesome. Thank you. What stats are on your modules? Full wep power? And do u use skills offten or just shoot?
Shoot as little as possible. Get the starting set that gives the music dodge and you're basically set already. After that aim for either the reload or the minor music ability
The damage on all of them is hilariously overtuned
Err so i don't shoot with the gun? I just dodge?
And dodge makes that wave as dps?
@south needle
And again. On ur mods whats the main stat? Wp (wep power) or sp? (Skill power)
Skill power
Yes. You should only be shooting if the dodge is on cooldown. If you get the reload perk, shoot one bullet then reload instantly
No, you can do it on anyone
Ty
wait, just take music C and that's it ?
@south needle
why they're buffed on this specific person ? or it's for everyone
think the E build with thunder it's better
so reds are like unique mods for rogueteers can you show me colonelsâ
@earnest harbor
Well over most of the betas from what I remember music was basically ass compared to other options. So they buffed the numbers a lot and tweaked how they work. Minor one for example only exploded once like the dodge and did much less damage. Now it pulses multiple times and is alot more useful. Another reason why he picked music instead of thunder is the hilariously huge hit box for the music dodge. Depending on the room it'll hit everything without effort and the mobs just die in comical fashion.
whats that red mod on colonel? can you send what it does plesse?
wait nvm sorry
Looks like a crit build some similar to what Heynckes can run
@south needle Could you check your discord dms đ
Well backpack would increase his firerate alot and Colonel can become a bullet hose while in aim mode
Oh actually I think he has that key that bans your Right click
Don't remember waht it does but think it gave alot of final dmg bonus
idk how, but I got 2 Billion damage, I thought I was doing bad, heres the perk loadout
just tried music build and holy sht its insane it feels like cheating
His crit build is the reason (two active perks with 10 points) .. also combat Terminull is so important, I played music build because of Music-Evasion is the fastest way to clear any area but after building my combat teminull I only play with a crit build.
um, so how does a colonel with no shoot perk and good gear, able to to do 2x heynck damage and have more kill with weapon atk O.o?
does colonel have something that can auto aim?
Not the best one, but I'm doing good with it
His Primary kinda does, and aim assist on a Controller also is nuts
Even âlightâ aim assist can track Reaperâs spinning attack about perfectly
were you both the same level? it's possible you are just alot more advanced with the terminull stats and stuff or they just couldn't find what they needed idk
Try to have your modules matching with the setup you choose
I think Weapon Damage is a safe bet nonetheless
Since Colonelâs Primary ability then makes you do tons of damage + have Fragileâs boost no matter what
I personally have been using Music or (Lucky) Crit, but Fortune seems to get many people to the top Leaderboard spots
I guess what matters is which set you want to choose first
Those seem to be really good, maybe also Thunder Perks?
Music is my personal favorite from all the Charm, combine it with Colonelâs Primary ability and youâll have massive waves of Charm
Lucky/Crit builds also work super well, Crits with your Primary Abilityâs Fragile effect boosting your normal shots, will be juicy
Try to make your Combat Terminull cohesive first with similar stat boosts and Passives
Then plan ahead in-game for what your stats fit the most
Tried the music build in CA 11 or 12 and it really is crazy
I went nuts into CA 10-14 with the crit one and 6 pieces of drones, focusing only on weapon damage
And music for floor clearing
Lol me too I'm so confused
back that do no damage and prof 9 ass well
This is the best support build in the game
No modules or grinding required, just make the guy your duo with deal more damage
Whats so good about the relaod music one?
That was just the starting effect to clear the rooms in the run to get the save. Your job is to perma-fragile the boss and give weapon damage to your teamates
Ive seen the music reloud be reccomended alot in other char/builds i just never understood why its so trong
Its because some fool put an extra 0 when making the damage numbers for them
probably in the skill scaling
It's similar build I use and it does crush difficulty 10 solo. Great on bosses, terrible on non-boss stages.
Other reason is the charm goes through walls and has infinite tracking it looks like. It doing hilarious dmg and charming mobs is a extra plus
You just spam shoot n reload? Nonstop?
Probably weave a missile as well for the debuff
Can't remember the extra details but looking forward to the lighting guy he had shown in one of the betas
anyone know hpow to get dps withj this guy
elit for the l;ife of me do no damage
lit
Nah, you have to keep E up on everything you shoot so you can get the 25% damage bonus for the party and the weak spot bonus continuously for Colonel.
I've also been using a thunder E build and it actually does enough damage to function properly on difficulty 10.
i personally use thunder from ca 1-10, then was using music from 10-20, from what i see, thunder perk give rather stable dps regardles what perk i got,
Music in other hand give stable dps but need certain perk that can boost the damage really huge.
i only try skill build, anyone try weapon damage build with colonel?
Man this build is so busted lmao
Building your 6 set of relics and lvl 10 trigger skill helps a lot on damage
If you can snag energy for your shielding it helps the group a lot. He can basically function as a healer.
.
It's also got almost no cooldown, so you can start a reload and then cancel it with an ability to start reloading again, basically letting you spam it
It's the main build I use. It's not overpowered but it does do decent damage on bosses allowing for ca34/35 clears where you skip the 3rd sets of rooms. Music is using a bugged passive to square their damage, which is ridiculously bugged and busted.
on bosses it cubes the damage.
Ya, i notice sometimes my damage just absurb, can few shoots mobs/bosses, but idk what the cause, which are used, not sure
Normally when you deal damage its like...
- Damage, Critical Damage, Weak Point Damage, other Perk and Relic multipliers = End Result
When the music perk is active its like...
- Damage, Critical Damage, other perk and relic multipliers
- THEN that end result is also applying your damage, critical damage, other perks and relics again for the repulse.
- THEN that end result is also applying your damage, critical damage, other perks and relics etc for the impact.
It's why people can have really awful music builds but magically deal way more damage than any other build.
So its not 2x and 3x... I think its ^2 and possibly ^3 on bosses
no wonders
does fortune build works with colonel? since he can shoot to, i saw alot for mega damage people using fortune build, like heynckes
For weapon power I use Fortune. It does the most consistent damage ironically despite the arbiter being luck and crit based đ
ca34 was an absolute stomp since you get a big weapon power buff, I did ca35 will play 36-40 tonight after work hopefully.
yea instead of luck it is better damage,. because didnt need to upgrade much, just hold alot of money them you good.
what the better weapon to use
This is definitely the best weapon damage perk ever. Good god.
Meh i prefer weapon amp. 2x weapon damage op and when my base is already 1540 thats already far more than the conversion off of 900 shield.
Its funny that you say this but I never realized how much it increased until I looked at the damage before and after.
The base damage went from 14000 ---> 45000....more than triple.
so whats the early game build for this guy?
@bold flax This is how my Colonel setup looks, I still have the Purple Modules to reroll for better substats
This combined with a weapon focus gets insane damage, but if I'm solo- I need to get something with AOE for my Primary, or it's sometimes overwhelming.
I had a Module with "first Perk thunder" but it got crept out, now I'm rerolling a similar Module to have something like it
I also hate the amount of times I get a Minor Skill related substat (Colonel's Minor skill doesn't benefit from Damage stuff until you get the right Perks for it, I think?)
His Minor Skill is his Temp Shields, but some Perks are inconsistent with listing it as Minor or Primary (though you can tell by input on the description)
The one from the Arbiter of Thunder usually
Sorry for the late reply, but I go for:
Wealth if in a group
Fortune if alone
Thunder is also a possible option (also goes with the Primary Perk from the same Arbiter)
Iâm not the best Colonel by any means, but I am happy to try and help with the theorycrafting
Weapon Damage Colonelâs main issue is having little means to crowd control if heâs not super OP Module-wise, or using his Primary with AOE effects
Thatâll leave you vulnerable to Snipers and hordes incoming, if youâre not killing fast enough
Itâs incredible for sustained single-target damage from the beginning, getting better with the right Potential and matching sets
In a group, I usually have the highest damage by a wide margin if fortune (pun intended) favors me
Be careful of the Breakdown in CA that can lock out a Skill too
If your Rockets get locked, especially while solo- prepare for a long haul
I typically hope that either Temp Shields or my Ultimate is locked at the beginning
Fortune works but energy gets you that crit-level power without needing any stats. They both work.
which potential is best when going fortune?
Try to match it with what your Fortune build affects
If it affects your shots mainly, go for Potentials that affect weak point damage, ammo regeneration, anything that lets you shoot more or boost your weapon/weakpoint damage
If it affects your Rockets mainly, then go for Potentials that make them have more AOE, boosts them at the cost of your normal shots effectiveness, etc
Ok and which set ist good
Ight so here's my Colonel build. I think weapon damage on him is a mistake especially if you're pushing for high corrective action numbers so build him skill damage without a doubt (majority of Arbitor's scale off skill damage anyway). I am currently second (Potentially top Colonel if you look at first places build and time). I've reached Corrective Action 47 on my Colonel. Precision effect for your traits is only if you get lucky with immortal, for starting though I recommend damage stacking. It gives both Skill/weapon damage making it great for quick burst. And imo an arbitor blessing is essential to have even if the module is bad. once you get a good one you can replace of course but until then get what you can. I love lighning personally and music (Yes music is strong but don't kid yourself 45-50 is still a slog)
Are you focused on skill perks then? or his rockets?
i played him skill damage at first and it was just a worse version of blade or max since his mobility is poor
but i can dominate bosses with weapon damage where i cant with the skill guys, unless i build blade all E
Actually both, his rockets actually do damage however the skill perks are the main appeal and if you want more rocket damage youâll want an E perk preferably from the music, thunder or even security tree (if you get a security perk you have a chance at a duo perk that increases all music damage by 200% which is nasty if you have echoes)
hello guys has anyone worked on mage build for colonel ?
i found out about this stupid build while playing , its a music build , where u get the reload perk and rapid reload potential and turn into a orb casting wizard
Please check what i just posted above.
yes but its a reload build so im asking if anyone has done it
also im talking about a fun build not good build
tbh there a lot of good build out there but i like to play with weird niche builds so i was wondering if anyone is doing the reload build
and tbh in rouge like no build is bad build its just luck and how u make it work
No not a fan of reload. It pales in comparison to Minor skill music perk, shooting one and dodge one. And imo isn't as fun. Even the E for Colonel is more fun with music
If you wanted to do a build with reload you ideally need to get the rapid reload perk and just spam reload
The reload setup has been my favorite to play for colonel. It is very slow at first and a lot of times, I don't get the skills and perks I want but when i do it's really fun.
who does
this character
i think you just not building him right
look at builds already posted, read, prosper; and git gud. And considering I just cleared Corrective action 1-50 all the way through with colonel, i beg to differ lol
game is so boring when all build eventually lead to 1, music build, while others are just bad compared to it.
use all other rogue, use music it will work out to
ive just been spamming the music dash but idk if thats optimal
its been working so far and its quite boring
There's a few other builds ive found that rival music easily, even seemingly surpass it but they require more investment and luck.
Popcorn Kernel Skin plz
Does anyone have a good build for Colonel that can shred corrective
I got a build for regular, but it does nothing in corrective
Please tag me if you choose to respond
would love to read about it if you dont mind sharing, coz i wan to use other build instead of music/lighning, i want to try wealth build, currently farming for the modules
Where did you get those yellow things from?
You get these from running viral frenzy game mode after Corrective 10 is finished
Im an open book whats up?
i think what hes saying is.... you keep saying "i know better builds" but dont really post anything saying what they could be.
this
And Weapon Colonel can still work very well, itâs the gameâs heavy focus on RNG that makes it hard
It takes more optimization to get Weapon Damage Colonel going with your Modules
While Skill Damage is so abundant even in Perks
Colonel is probably the best character for Weapon Damage too, when Fragile + Weak Point Damage + Colonelâs insanely high fire rate stacks so well
Itâs not a mistake at all, if anything the gameâs RNG involved even down to our fundamental Module builds is more of one
Small 4 bil hits
build please
As the top colonel in corrective I think I know a thing or two xD however a purist thunder build works very well with colonel, especially if you can get the perk that gives lightning a chance to strike twice (70%-100% depending on rarity) and higher damage on single targets with thunder strikes. Big damage on bosses for that and elites. A good mix with thunder from what Iâve experimented with is cubies mainly if you can get lucky and roll the duo. Run Thunder surge on your C. Thatâs a massive damage increase per .2 seconds for the cubie thunder duo. The strongest Iâve gotten with the duo setup is 500mil-600mil per .2 seconds from cubies proccing thunderstrike and 8-9 billion hits on C thunder surge perk. Even without the duo though with the right setup even with colonels C cd you can still have a massive nuke and good wave clear with some chained lightning. Iâve carried groups with just the purist thunderstrike build very easily in chains of disorder etc. You can of course run music as a build as well. Just get echoes and gg. However even without echoes itâs pretty effective. People scream that music is so broken however itâs actually very balanced. Strong but balanced. It only becomes broken if you use echo shock. The perk passive is bugged seemingly. I was able to clear corrective 48 in a very reasonable time with no echoes. Desire is fine too, the perk that adds an explosion of massive damage is needed though imo. But I do enjoy desire just for fun. Security is a great secondary for a lot of the options of arbiters as a side note.
Literally just music with echoes shock passive perk.
It can but I still vastly recommend and prefer skill damage.
Is building for Fragile not recommended then? thats is how I got my Coronel set up atm
oh that doesnt show all the stats.
I been using this with Fortune and Wealth. both have felt good but Fortune was doing really well for me. if I get the energy Reload and the Dup Perk for fortune and energy my damage goes through the roof
but if i aint hitting weak points i aint doing much so I gotta aim for healshots to clear or get my Ulti off to just spray and pray
I found a hybrid build to work well
Your skill dmg is looking weak
With the gun, you could get swarmed and the primary blast could save you
You can pair it with thunder to do a bunch of scaling chain lightning damage
idk which one it is but I could try replacing the Power + Health for the Skill Power + Health; the Blue ones
that way Im invested into both. yea I was using Primary Lightning when i was going through the early game but I didnt notice it doing a lot on the bosses at the time. but mb actually scaling into the skill damage would help.
someone knows his RoF buff numbers when ADS?
Y'all ever noticed that the shield set is goated for Colonel? If you're building Weapon Damage
thios good?
What do you play to get red ones?
Thank you for this infomation its very helpful for my colonel build
Chains of disorder hard, unlocked after you complete Corrective action 30.
Gotcha
@ancient thunder thinking about going colonel again how should i build him?
@livid spade Depends on what you wanna go, you CAN go weapon damage as his E inflicts not only Fragile (25% increase damage on a target for self and team) but it also makes it so all colonels hits on that target are weakspot hits PLUS you can still shoot weakspots and get MORE weakspot damage. But weakspot seems to work for skill damage too so thats up to you. I am liking Thunder chain lightning on colonel atm and i still build full skill damage. You can go reload thunderstrike with thunder surge on C (HUGE FREAKIN HUGE DAMAGE) but you absolutely need Thunder duo (not an actual duo just the name) and expansion. (Thunderstrike does more damage on single targets and thunderstrike has a chance to hit twice). A burn style desire build can work BUT you need to have explosive burn. And heavy investment on extra burn damage through the desire arbitor. As much damage from other arbitors as possible. I wasn't a fan of security and i tried games but i need to test games more. Games and security are just better as secondaries not primary builds imo.
got it thanks
what are you looking for on the mods?
the special abilities on the bottom
Highly recommend Weapon damage for CA and Skill dmg for anything else
If you're soloing
What's the go-to build for early game?
this ok?
Your crit rate is pretty low, add another 30-40% on there any you'll be okay
Why Weapon for CA? and at what level
@ancient thunder How's chain lightning for bossing, ie cod hard solos. Thunderstrike obviously pops off if perks are perfect but it rarely ends up that way for me. and chain lightning feels too low dmg potential but that's just my experience on the other chars talking.
if you check leaderboard it another way around.
tbf that not the point his base skill power and power are super low
he never learn and keep asking the same question looking for new answer
skill dmg colonel but use only 7/9 fission module
with 3 and 4 block
if you look closely most of his module are either 1/2/3/4 block and rarely use 5 block module that has higher intensity level/trait and higher base power
with ~1800 (power + skill power)
you're not going to compare that to full intensity IV block with 2500-2800 (power + skill power)
all low level cores too, keep playing and get the mods/etc before worrying about how your stats endupd
I honestly cant find a good colonel build without duo perks. It looks like other than music, leaderboards have cheaters.
it just another music with his module
Iâll be honest I was busy at the time when I looked I didnât even notice that lol yeah those are hella low
It requires investment but with his E and the shoot it can be pretty consistent as long as the game doesnât decide to give you the middle finger on rng lol
I change my mind on my last statement
52B and the match before was 90B
Sorry for the spam,
But here's the %s
tbf, this build is kinda bug with duo perk. it almost instantly kill everything without need for good stat
Damn, thought I was goated
which relic set is best for colonel?
Why no one uses the âincrease weak part dmg 200% but decrease normal part to 80%â? Looks perfect combining with colonel E
becase something better already exist
you are not going to debuff every mob before you kill it do you.
But you get 1.5dps on boss
it's not 1.5 dps
weakpoint damage scale addictive to skill dmg or weapon dmg
so it just another 50% more damage when endgame you have more than thousand
drawback is 1/5 your entire damage if you not debuff them
5% final dmg but when you not hit weakpart it became 1/5 your dmg
So if it is hitting a weak part itâs 200%+skill dmg%?
yes
i can give only some because some perk is multiplicative or addictive randomly, including relic and potential
(power + skill power) x (skill dmg + primary/minor/ultimate dmg + weakpoint dmg) x (skill crit dmg)
for weapon formula, it scale similar with skill power but it doesn't effect primary/minor/ultimate dmg at all
So theoretically skill dmg, skill crit dmg, weak part dmg will be the highest dmg substats combination
All ik is blizzard, no one can stop me
is there any weapon dmg colonel builds or just skill dmg. which arbiters work best for weapon dmg?
Anyone have any tips for best skills and that to be on the look out for?
Thunder, focus on his e, if you've got skill power. Fortune for weapon dmg focus
new protostrike is pretty strong on colonel. It is only available on some areas tho which is kinda cringe
Y'all we need him the new system build ASAP
What's a good build for colonel im on ps5 if that makes a difference đ€
How do i get combat termnull unlocked
Hello can someone tell me what perks are good at colonet ? please
how can i unlook this?
FIrst part ^^
I don't have skill accumulation nor protostrike 4 so damage can still go up around 70 % with two more protostrike hit ^^ And i think the ultimate proto perk is almost obligatory unfortunately, the difference it makes is too important ^^
Thank you!
your welcome :). Hope you can do even better and show me hehe. I don't see a lot of people playing this.
@halcyon harbor i have similiar build but dnt go too far like the others rogueteers, i try build him like this this, one question the exclusive rogueteer specific for colonel are good for him or bad? I see you dnt use them
With blade and yuri with them specific i clear every content, i dnt try with colonel..
- Most of rogueeter specific for colonel are kind of useless. Only the firepower mapping potential chip is very important.
I'm going to show you how it looks like. I've just got big cooldown on lb so i can spam shield, the missil area being updgraded with the perk, it hits everyone around and i basically one shot everyone after.
@halcyon harbor ok thx for the advice, yes spam shield and missole with firepower mapping is the way, i try put more protostrike like the build,i have to find the ultimate proto perk lol
The ultimate perk is random drop like the others because is no specific rogueeter right?
There are two ultimate perks per perks. Ultimate amplification and an active perk. For protostrike i only have 1 and wasteland i never got a single 1. But yeah it only drops on read gears and it's kind of rare unfortunately. I've got only two or three perks where i got two and it's not the one i'm interested in x).
the two duo perks are also nuts and essential. It's very difficult to optimise protostrike because it requires many rare perks and a bit of luck too and it's difficult to upgrade it.
Can you show me your build ? ^^
