Some time ago I replaced videocard from 1080ti to 5070ti. This gave me a significant performance improvement in PC emulator (mumu), but I have noticed that different light sources around the game render light rays with a strange chessboard-like pattern. Stronger light sources make it more prominent. The easiest way to see this is to go to the guerilla camp in Jiangshi Metro and look at the sun, or run around the new Veridia region (Boneyard). Rising is the only game where I saw this. I tried changing the renderer in mumu settings, but it didn't help. The issue is definitely not isolated to my device/settings because I know at least two different people who also had this.

I have the same problem, believe it’s just an issue with the game engine but have you ever found a solution @unborn ember ?
Unfortunately, no. I tried changing the game renderer or different settings, but it didn't help
Gotcha. Im pretty sure it’s just how the light renders in the game and only stands out on the emulator due to it being blown out on a larger screen. Also the resolution you set on device settings isn’t truly what the game renders 1:1. from what I can tell. Usually a small bit lower.
Wish they made a dedicated pc build. Game has surpassed D2 in my opinion only held back by the platform
yeah, I agree on that
I'll try asking people on reddit later, maybe someone knows something we don't
