I've been doing abundance/conversion on the 1/2 slots. Axiom on 3, haven't really decided 4. Currently running plantessimal but not sure if it's the best. Resonating Transit sounds like it could be good

Okay it doesn't look like resonating transit works. It made me do less damage than plantessimal and that was without the plantessimal boost... Both have similar weapon enhancement levels, no arc damage, and similar artifact scores. Not sure what the issue is

Personally I just have a mythic abundance + conversion that I run on all units that have natural healing until I figure out whats better for helhest. Got axiom even in solo managed to get an exotic wwith dmg bonus boost, wep and super boost ( lackluster 4th). Was planning to run bellicose as I managed to get T1 helhest so I have 3 charged of her drone ability

I think it mostly comes down to which exotic you find more fun to play with. Obviously Contravene will be a bit better than the EoL, but you will rely on it for both ad clear and bossing for the most part. The Exotic Bow is definitely the best option for ad clear as far as Bows go. In the end if you think you can manage to keep the heavy ammo rolling with Contravene (probably be at least t4) then it might be the best option.

So I did my own tests and the dmg is still confusing. So the 3.3mil was with full axion using contra - spawning lvl 3 dmg buff and lvl 1 healing - casted salvo then shot for 12-13 seconds till magazine was empty. Next test at 3.9mil was removing the united axion and replacing it with Calming Token so the difference in buffs would have been around what 94% difference so should have been lower. Did the same thing and somehow the dmg was higher can you explain this?

well that’s counting ability and super damage on top of your weapon damage, but assuming that axiom in slot 3 isn’t proccing (because it shouldn’t work solo) you are getting the precision weapon damage buff from calming token

you could tap history and it’ll separate the three kinds of damage so it’s easier to calculate the buff

or see where exactly the number is higher

Me personally I wouldn't use any of the axion on helhest especially for endgame right now even with the drones

the two rings in the first slot are really nice, then maybe inverted fury and your choice with bela or hawk.

Calamity Ops top ten runs have Helhests with either or Trinity and Royal Contravene so I choose the mobbing potential or Trinity with my EoL godroll personally, fun catalysts on Trinity imo

It's hard to check leaderboards. Most are locked or don't have their helhest in the showcase, and i get very conflicting answers on what to farm.

I feel belicose a bit lacking on T0 her cd are very high so you will have downtime on bellicose which dont seems to be worth it.. axion on 4th slot also has a big downtime as its only tied to one ability so hawkeye seems to be the best option there.. inverted fury has the biggest dmg boost for 3rd slot but axion is also comparable and easier to use so your call. For the first two its personal choice what flavor of defense boosting u like

Axion just multiply the boost by the % so at its weakest at max rank it is enhancing the buff by + 14% (~12.7% damage) and at most a super adding + 56% (~40% damage increase).

What feels odd is more her light link ability, when it seems to be active its numbers are feeling semi addative but not exactly, or something is diminishing it.

Np, yes it does require some invesment, and being a bit over the minimum power helps since you get up to 25-30% damage for being 3K power over the min req

I feel like my Helhest is very relatable to the average player and I’m T0. Its def doable

If I would run multiple times and be flawless as I can. I can get a 6 minute run

As I don’t even have weapons or my Relic Abilities maxed, nor do I have good Artifacts

But knowing how / when / where to position and use her drones & salvo is a huge skill issue for me at least.

And between levels it gets tricky sometimes because they don't reset properly so you're starting a level without even being able to use the drones

Positioning matters for long range characters , pick long range artefacts for 3/4. slot , if you can’t stay long range pick artefacts which benefit your own playstyle

I was just noticing today that it seems like Lightning Rod can refresh itself. Like if Lightning Rod kills something it refreshes for another 2 shots. Which is pretty fun.

Need to make it so when your ammo drone is by an objective and you can generate ammo, it doesn't overwrite the interact option. I have to waste ammo gen or move my drone before I can do objectives.

There are 2 parts for each artifact stat. The main part increases damage, the tier rank up part heals on arc final blow every 10 seconds.

The top HH in Calamity mostly use Royal, but there are a couple of Ghouls in top 50 too. I think I will build up Royal too since I like HH so much and switch depending on the content.

If you're wanting to compete at that level probably go Royal first.

I find Ghoul and the mythic LFR easier to use effectively when on mobile, but I need to give Royal more time to see if I can make it work on the less precise controls.

Did a lot of testing over the past 12 hrs and I think QB is possibly better damage over a longer fight, but EOL has better burst potential.

Ease of Use definitely goes in to EOL. Better accuracy and easier to use sights imo.

The amount of resources required to invest in the Royal Contravene to only be marginally better than End of the Line godroll is hard to justify.

And I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. Mythics are strong and somewhat easier to build. Exotics have a bit more p2w to them and most of them only end up only being slightly stronger than min-maxed Mythics.

Some exotics just aren't as good as Mythics though, so those should probably be buffed.

Yes you should. The 3rd Catalyst for the Queen Breaker only increases the damage for the chain lightning. Which isn't the best feature of that weapon. It's not worth spending 100 and 2 photons on.

Are they easy to max out as a f2p? Hell no!
It takes a long time and SP drops rates are very low. So the more practical thing would be to buy them from BM which a f2p can buy 1 every week and 2 every other week given the income of BM coins we have. You need 7 to max one out so thats roughly 4-5 weeks given you're extremely unlucky. Which given a drop rate of 1.5% i'd imagine a lot of people are.

Energy Spent : 1,700
Drops Required: 390 IC + 7 SP
Boosted drops: 3x per week
Per day : 24
Weekly output : 156 + 30 = 186
15 Days. Roughly 2 weeks.
Thats 2 weeks of your energy going only to a SINGULAR exotic.

All this can be skipped if you spend since theres a lot of these resources in BP and some packs.

So exotics are not p2w but pay to skip convenient. Which is understandable

It varies from person to person, and in this case a drop rate of 1.5 % means a considerable amount of people are bound to face the same bad luck.
Meaning to sum it all it takes several weeks to farm enough to max a singular exotic as a f2p when in contrast you can skip a considerable part of it if you spend.

I have some artifact questions that have probably been answered in here but;

#1 any reason for the healing veil? I think I've seen it/another movement artifact recommended for Helhest but what triggers them? If anything ofc, I understand it might just be for stats.
#2 Is united axion worth it/good? Last thing I heard it only buffs DBB (DMG boost+) which only affects HH ult/big drone and Tan-2 wells? Or does it also buff the DMG buff you get from your boost drone? How does it work and is it best-in-slot?
#3 best artifacts for slot 4. I have bellicose plant but I'm unsure.
#4 I didn't realise I had this many questions lol but are any of the other axion artifacts worth it? I can't remember the slot 1 axion name but the perk seemed possibly viable just by reading.

I could be wrong here, but i think the reason why you've seen people using healing veil is because they've borrowed it from their Ning fei. I dont think helhest can activate it herself..
First 2 slots are personal preference imo.. depending upon whether u want more healing or DR.. i personally like the overshield combo since i can get DR from sub stats and having a bigger hp pool will help tank bigger hits.
Last 2, go with axion on 3rd and either bellicose or hawkeye for 4th.
And yeah, how axion works is it boost the dmg bonus you get from your booster drone it is very confusing as to how it works, but basically it boosts the dmg boost you get either from tan well or helhest drones, and it wont directly buff your wep like other artifacts but the dmg bonus itself resulting in higher bonus. At the end of thr day its her BiS from all the wep testing i've seen and its at a very significant difference too.
For her 4th its upto u if you got her talent trees u will have another charge of drone and can manage belicose timer and will have more freedom in movement otherwise with hawkeye you have to play at a distance of 30m to gain the boost and if something like fallen or hive crawls upto u then you'll loose all that boost.. both have its downside but i personally think belicose is better.

Also you WANT dmg bonus boost on sub stats even more than the set itself. it makes a huge difference

Liza here shared a 4:17 Eternity run with triple Axion+Bellicose it was very smooth, while I've seen people say that on paper Bellicose is not the best damage you can get, but I it's a lot easier to maintain the damage bonus compared to Axion or Hawk on 4th, I mean even Illuminated Ground "feels" better to me compared to these two.
Then people would argue that you don't need high damage bonus uptime to clear and should rather focus on higher burst for bossing and Shinka's, when in reality all of them are good and very situational.

Seeing how difficult it is to farm god roll exo artifacts, maybe the best setup really is to use a 3 exo on 1/2/3 and run perfect rolls maxed mythics on 4th and swap accordingly.

They should still make bows feel better to use. They are terrible for basic gunplay.

I'm fairly good at FPS but bows are incredibly unforgiving and it just feels 'bad' when you whiff 3 shots in a row on a red bar.

I’ve just started building mine, I transferred Nings artefacts over as placeholders, 2 q’s for helhest enjoyers:

1. Does rampaging work on her? Seeing mixed opinions about her drones counting/not counting as summons.

2. Does damage bonus boost effect helhest herself??? If I don’t give a F about teammates and just want to stack my own damage can I just run arc, ability, super, weapon enh???

1. Yes it does (confirmed in shooting range, drones are both summons and allies).
2. So first DBB only affects yourself. Second, you want to run United Axion with DBB on her because it's multiplicative on top of the 140% boost from your own buffs, which can potentially go even higher if you have a tan-2 in your team, so yea United is a no-brainer on her 3rd.

The idea is that unrelenting ground provides the damage reduction by standing still which should trigger unrelenting evolution. I hate how armored doesn’t have a buff icon so we can see if it is working properly or not.

Yeah unfortunately you can only feel the tankiness. In Morgan's hunt for example on the 2nd bridge with rings I would get chunked down a lot. With Unrelenting I almost never go under half HP.

I might go into Expanse and find a stage to record and compare rings vs Unrelenting against ogres or shriekers or zealots.

I thought I wouldn't like the stationary bit at first. I was a zoomer Ning main before HH. But I almost always park myself under my Drones anyway it works quite naturally.

Rings vs Unrelenting

A Crude Comparison video just in the first stage of Expanse. Using the Healing drone and standing still.

Obviously conditions are not perfect and artifact perks are not equal...

But I would have thought the Rings with Melee damage reduction would have performed better than they did.

Figured I would note something piggy backing off of your video. Armor only applies when you gain the damage reduction, as you gain it when you become stationary you do need to move every so often to recharge the armored stacks.

Showing the damage between moving slightly before being hit, and stopping to attack with no moving. The second set you see I lost more damage per hit as at least one of my armor stacks fell off.

Not for Helhest, she'll always have an ally damage boost going. Even if she's only casting drones every 20s, that's still 10% + 20%*4/20 = 14% average damage boost, 18.62% with max DBB. Axion means that becomes a 44.7% damage buff, which is a 22% average improvement. Calming is a 29.1% damage increase with a max QB. Axion lets you get up to 48.7% more damage during dps tho

Also Axion always works for yourself. Tan's own Well is strengthened for him as well. The drones being allies is only useful for Firing Line

If you’re both using RC on the left, and EoL on the right, that’s a significant difference, almost a quarter.

I'm only using EOL in all 3. And 3nv0y RC in all 3. My RC isn't nearly maxed.

Honestly where we see the difference might mainly be Confined Axion vs Hawkeye rather than the 2 weapons. The Ogre bosses in particular I forgot to screenshot them, but those fights lasted a minute or more and for sure Confined Axion wouldn't be active the entire time

Hard to say. This was just some real world testing with a lot of variables that are hard to account for

Yeah I have a maxed god roll EoL too, most Helhest I play with in the 70k power range usually outdps me if they run RC. However, I think this isn't simply due to a raw DPS (like just look at your test both very good if you ask me), but also ammo management being easier on RC. Like TG is fantastic for ads clear, but too many times I find myself having to switch to EoL to kill random elites because TG is terrible at single targets. Then by the time we get to the boss, RC dude almost has a full mag while I'm sitting on 10 rounds if I'm lucky.

I've watched a Helhest speed runner clear stage 29 I think? (The one with the 2 moving platforms)
That triple shot from RC made it look so much smoother where EoL gets the job done but feels significantly slower, and probably would burn more ammo as well.

Now personally even though it's "better", I can't justify investing that many limited materials to max a RC while I have a maxed god roll EoL and my other characters need a decent exo weapon too.

Yeah I do think RC is overall better but not to the point that I'm willing to put 6 Photons into it. The difference doesn't seem to be worth it. Maybe when I'm done with the other Exotics I want to work on first

Clearly hyrule was under the impression that it could be obtained, or else they wouldn't have had to come here and ask. Hopefully they didn't waste too many exotic mod choices trying to get it 😅
